This is my ugly 26 year old gray market CBR400R. I’m the third owner. This bike was imported from Tokyo, to British Columbia, to Cleveland, and trucked from Cleveland four years ago. I got it running again, replaced the voltage regulator after it tried to burn itself to the ground, slid it into some Armco on a fast ride, replaced the forks, took off the body work, rigged up a scooter windscreen and some fog lamps/scooter projector light, dreamed about new body work, replaced the tank that got damaged when someone backed over it while parked on the street (found on David Silver Spares in the UK, probably the last tank like that in existence), finally replaced the tires it came with (still scolding myself), put new fork springs (Race Tech) and a new (old CBR600) shock on it.
There’s a lot I’d still like to do, but instead of telling you what I want to do, I’ll just update here when ever I do them.
